With a voice described as "hauntingly beautiful" by the New Straits Times, award-winning actress and singer Stephanie Van Driesen from Malaysia is best known for her musical theatre lead roles as Sally Bowles in PAN Productions' "Cabaret" (Kander & Ebb), Betty in "The Secret Life of Nora" for which she won "Best Performance in a Supporting Role" at the BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2012, Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz", Beth in "Merrilym We Roll Along" (2014) and as Marilyn Monroe in her original one woman show "Marilyn & Me" which debuted in October 2015. Highlights: 2017 Disney Asia's Tangled: The Series - "Rapunzel" character singing voice dub (Malay language), performing as a soloist with the
prestigious Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and performing the traditional Malay gamelan with the award-winning Rhythm in Bronze
ensemble. Acting credits include Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing" (2017 - Shakespeare's Globe), Kate in "Anak Merdeka" (2017 - Malaysian TV miniseries), Emma in Harold Pinter's "Betrayal", Anette in "God of Carnage" (2016), and Desdemona in "Othello" (2011).
