Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jamil Toney caught the acting bug during the ripe season of his high school career. Since then, he went on to study theatre in Minneapolis at Augsburg College and currently holds a BA degree in that area of study. His most recent theatre credits include John— Anatomy of A Suicide, Dr. Rank—A Doll’s House, Macbeth —Macbeth, Beraldé—The Imaginary Invalid, and Lysander—A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As of recent, Jamil is currently in full pursuit of his MFA Acting degree at East 15 Acting School. Once completed, Jamil intends to the focus on the development of his own Theatre Company and devising new works.
